I know I will never do this but my God I loved reading about it

If you wear makeup, I promise it will become your most used item. I had to make a new one to photograph because the original has been through the ringer.

The amount I would be willing to pay for a consultation/custom palette…

I swear this isn’t a cop out but the only way you will learn is by doing it yourself! I suggest buying a camouflage mini palette, or searching online for palettes of concealers with color correctors (korean and Japanese brands have these), OR asking counter ladies to make little sample jars of foundation and concealers at department stores, and dedicating some time sitting at the mirror experimenting with mixing and applying to different parts of your face and checking in different lighting. Then once you know the shades that you need, you can level up to making your own palette with the products and textures you prefer.

The answer I most feared, but ofc I believe it. Hate when the only way out is through. Will report back. So keen on doing this, such a genius idea.

I'll consider this. It certainly beats my contact lens case of foundation and concealer.

What’s that silvery cream near the bottom right?!? Or is the light playing tricks with my eyes?

If you mean in the mini pan, the shimmery goopier product is a highlighter I bought in Japan A’Pieu Juicy-pang glossy jelly highlighter in shade 4; I tried finding it to link in my HOLY GRAILS doc but I don’t think I was able to find online. Let me know if you do!

Some images I’ve seen suggest this Moonlight shade is 4, though it looks a bit warmer than yours. But if that’s it … https://www.yesstyle.com/en/apieu-juicy-pang-glossy-jelly-highlighter-2-colors-pink-shell/info.html/pid.1133975682
